The Fundietician's Favorite Chocolate Muffins
Preheat oven to 350F
1.5 cups whole wheat flour(substitute flour as desired)
1/2 cup coconut sugar (my fav for baking)
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
Optional but recommended -Handful of chocolate chips
1 cup mashed ripe banana (measure out- usually one large or two small)
1/2 cup pure organic maple syrup
1 cup almond milk
3 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
1 tsp vanilla
Mix wet and dry ingredients in separate bowls (hold off on chocolate chips until the end, my kids love adding them on their own!) Then combine all ingredients together in one big bowl, stir until blended.
